Steve is a seasoned executive with regional, national and international experience in real estate development, manufacturing and the wine industry. He helps guide Atelier Cascadia clients with overall strategic direction as well as operational, administrative and financial planning.

Steve began his career in the wine industry in Napa Valley more than 30 years ago before moving to the Walla Walla Valley to develop and build an estate vineyard and winery, Delmas and SJR Vineyard. Steve has blended business savvy with entrepreneurial creativity to help multiple winery projects chart their strategic direction forward.

Over the past decade, Steve spearheaded the petition and approval of one of the Northwest’s more renowned AVAs, The Rocks District of Milton-Freewater. He also founded an association of growers and producers focused on promoting and marketing the appellation. Steve served on the Oregon Wine Board’s Strategic Planning Committee and received the organization’s Industry Leadership Award in 2020.
